Watkins Ross is a 100% employee-owned consulting, actuarial and administration firm providing services for employer or union sponsored retirement benefit and health plans. We serve approximately 700 clients including one-person professional service corporations, multi-employer plans, and group health plans covering thousands of plan participants.
Watkins Ross was established in 1948. Our corporate office is located in Grand Rapids, MI with a satellite office in Wisconsin. We serve clients nationwide.
HOW WE HELP.
Our retirement plan team is experienced in designing | implementing | administering many types of retirement plans, including cash balance, pension, profit sharing, ESOP, and non-qualified plans. The rules and regulations that govern this industry are complex and the penalties for noncompliance can be substantial. Our team is skilled at educating our clients and communicating these complex issues in a way that is understandable, allowing clients to focus on the success of their businesses.
Our health plan team specializes in COBRA and other health plan pricing, incurred but not paid claim reserve calculations, and benefit comparisons to determine the impact on premiums of benefit plan changes such as changing deductibles, co-pays, and out of pocket maximums.
